MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Malls finally geared up for its 28th mall development in the country’s most popular and sought-after destination in the north — Robinsons Ilocos Norte. It is the first and largest full-service mall development in the northern Luzon region. In partnership with Venvi Development Corporation, this destination is set to give a new vibe and vitality to Ilocos Norte by offering countless dining and retail options, leisure, relaxation and amusement.
Robinsons Ilocos Norte is a 22,220-square-meter shopping mall development situated in Brgy. 1 San Fransisco, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. It stands as a major component of a 20-hectare mixed-use complex being developed by local-based firm, Venvi Development Corporation. Aptly called The Center, this vibrant and energetic complex includes residential, office, hotel and other commercial establishments. The two-level mall also features Robinsons Malls’ prominent anchor stores: Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, Handyman Do-It Best Home Center, Robinsons Appliances and Robinsons Movieworld. Robinsons Land’s president Frederick D. Go and Venvi Group of Companies chairman Atty. Hilario Valdez welcomed guests together with Robinsons Retail senior vice president Robina Gokongwei-Pe, Robinsons Malls top executives including Robinsons Malls general manager Cornelio S. Mapa, vice president for property management Tommy L. O and Robinsons Ilocos Norte group property manager Melody Dela Cruz.
Special guests who graced the event were former First Lady Imelda R. Marcos, Rep. Bongbong R. Marcos, former Rep. Imee Marcos, Ilocos Norte Vice Governor Windell D. Chua, San Nicolas Mayor Alfredo Valdez Jr. and Atty. Hilario P. Valdez, chairman of the Venvi Group of Companies.

During the event, Mayor Valdez gave a heartfelt speech to welcome Robinsons Malls as he spoke on behalf of his fellow Ilocanos and constituents. He also announced Robinsons Malls’ pledge to support a number of scholars through a coin bank campaign.
Robinsons Ilocos Norte is the mall group’s first mall development in northern Luzon.
