MANILA, Philippines - Through printmaking, drawing and photography, Issay Rodriguez seamlessly melds time-frames into one landscape in “Blueprints,” which opens on Jan. 9 at Silverlens, YMC Bldg., 2320 Don Chino Roces Ave. Ext., Makati City. The show runs until Feb. 6.
This enables Rodriguez to portray a fusion of reminiscences and projections. Her “cyanophite” rendering style is a synthesis in itself — the combination of cyanotype print and graphite drawing; where various planes, layers and vantage points blend into one.
