Elena Coyiuto debuts at Big and Small

MANILA, Philippines - Mendez Big and Small Gallery presents a Valentine group show titled “HeArt,” which is on view starting today until Feb. 24 at the SM Art Center, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.

Elena Coyiuto makes her debut as an artist at the “HeArt” group show. Coyiuto — a literature major and well-versed in the arts — attended the Kline Academy of Fine Art in Los Angeles, California. She was mentored by three-time Carlos Palanca awardee and famed artist Egai Fernandez as well as Fernando Sena, the Father of Philippine Art Workshops. Elena explains, “Art is my passion. It is a wonderful thing to be able to do what one loves doing.” A particularly emotional piece is “Heart Prints in the Sand” by Elena.
