Michael Cacnio finding ways to enhance his craft

The country’s rising array of art genres escalated to greater heights when brass sculptor Michael Cacnio joined the scene 25 years ago and steadily made his way to an internationally-acclaimed artist status. His body of work depicts social realism, portraying playful images of Filipino children and adults enjoying life with carefree delight, as seen in his Children at Play, Kites, and Balloon series. With over 50 exhibits worldwide and works of art which garnered praises in Asia, Europe, and the United States, this world-class artist and 2006 The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awardee finds ways to continue enhancing his craft. And with the loving support of his family — his wife Tess and his sons Jacob (16), Mateo (13), and Lucas (8); and the aid of technology and PLDT HOME Fibr, the home’s most powerful broadband, we can expect even more masterpieces to arise from his legacy.
