‘Curtain’s Up’ opera at Lopez Museum

MANILA, Philippines - Lopez Museum will host Lyrical Opera (LyrOpera) of the Philippines as they perform opera and Broadway hits in “Curtain’s Up,” which will be held on July 6 at 3 p.m. at the Loepz Museum and Library, ground floor, Benpres Bldg. Exchange Rd. corner Meralco Ave., Pasig City.

Tenors Glenn Gaerlan, Sherwin Sozon, and Randy Gilongo, sopranos Ana Feleo, Kay Balajadia Liggayu and Patrice Pacis will be singing songs from operas such as Carmen, La Boheme and Madame Butterfly as well as Broadway hits from the productions of West Side Story, Cats and Miss Saigon.

LyrOpera strives to revive the golden age of opera in the Philippines by presenting opera productions of outstanding quality, nurturing the appreciation of opera, music and performing arts through education and outreach programs.

Tickets are priced at P500.
