MANILA, Philippines - As part of the MCO Foundation 28th Season, two internationally-acclaimed artists, pianist Albert Tiu and clarinetist Marcel Luxen, will open MCO Foundation’s Great Performances Series on June 1, 7 p.m., at The Ayala Museum, Makati City.
Together, they will perform heartwarming sonatas of Brahms, Schumann’s touching Fantasie Stucke, and Weber’s fiendish Duo Concertante. Aside from the performance, Albert Tiu will hold a special masterclass on June 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and Marcel Luxen from 2 to 5 p.m., both to be held at The Ayala Museum. The masterclasses will be open to the public free of charge.
