Silverlens at Art Basel Hong Kong

“Pink Steel” by Rachel Rillo

MANILA, Philippines - Silverlens is one of the participating galleries in the inauguration of Art Basel Hong Kong, which is slated from May 23 to 26 at the Hong Kong Convention Center, Hong Kong.

Art Basel, which is considered as one of the most prestigious international art fairs, has gone to cross the border from Europe to the shores of Miami Beach, Floriada in the US a decade ago, and is now set to run in Hong Kong to further widen the scope of its audience and range of participants.

Silverlens sends five of its represented artists, namely Maria Taniguchi, Mariano Ching, Patricia Perez Eustaquio, Rachel Rillo and Gary-Ross Pastrana, to address not only the possibilities of what the global stage such as Art Basel Hong Kong can produce, but also the different modes of dialogue it can generate through such profusion of inimitable identities and their situation across other divergent works.
