Young artists at work at the Philippine Science High School for the Arts

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Science High School for the Arts is celebrating its 35th founding anniversary with an exhibit at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club. The school is the educational arm of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) that offers Creative Writing, Theater Arts, Music, and Dance to select public school students from different regions.

On view are the works of young artists, ages 12-15 years. Art teacher Marc Vincent Cosico says, “We welcome this opportunity to stage this exhibit at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club where we are can share our youth’s exuberance and self-expression through their  landscape, abstract , and poster paintings , including a work by one of our mentors, noted visual artist Don Salubayba.”
