MANILA, Philippines - Louie Ignacio presents his floral abstractions in “In Full Bloom,” which opens on Feb. 20 at The Art Center, The Artwalk, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.
The show features 50 still-life watercolor paintings. No two compositions are alike, and all partake of that brilliant solution of modernizing the still-life through an abstract color-field where paint drops and dissolves into stains and washes that emanate from its impact point, shaping into petals, stamens, and unearthly colored leaves.
