Jaime Zobel and Igan D'Bayan at Ayala Museum

MANILA, Philippines - Artists Jaime Zobel and Igan D’Bayan present their latest artworks in a back-to-back exhibit at The Ayala Museum titled “Zobel-D’Bayan,” which opens on Nov. 9, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. The show is on view until Nov. 13. The exhibition is part of The Philippine STAR’s 25th anniversary celebration, and is supported by Ayala Corporation, The Crucible Gallery and Samsung Philippines.

Ayala Museum is at the Greenbelt Park, on the corner of Makati Ave. and De la Rosa St., Makati City.

Natee Utarit at Finale

Thai artist Natee Utarit showcases his series of paintings, which seamlessly merge photo-realism, symbolism, and social commentary in “Bourgeois Dilemma,” which opens on Nov. 4 at Finale’s Tall Gallery, Warehouse 17, La Fuerza Compound, 2241 Chino Roces Ave., Makati City. The show runs until Nov. 26.

Leo Abaya at Tin-Aw Art Gallery

Jon and Tessy Pettyjohn mount “Clay Life,” which opens on Nov. 3 at the Alliance Française Total Gallery of the Alliance Française de Manille, with cocktails from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Since the last successful exhibition of their works in 2009 at Total Gallery, this dynamic couple has had several other exhibitions, each time pushing the limits of their material and their craft to new heights.
