A great way to fly

MANILA, Philippines - We flew Singapore Airlines from the Lion City to Barcelona, a 13-hour flight that passed by almost without our noticing it. Privileged to fly Singapore Airlines Business Class, I experienced the epitome of Business Class travel.

A stylish combination of enhanced personal space, functionality and leading-edge innovation, the new Singapore Airlines Business Class detracts from the norm. These, combined with the Airline’s trademark Asian hospitality and world-renowned service, help rejuvenate even the most jaded business traveler.

The new Singapore Airlines Business Class seat can be found on new aircraft joining the Airline’s fleet, including the B777-300ER, the A380 and the A340-500. It is the world’s widest full-flat Business Class seat.

Singapore Airlines’ new First Class, on the other hand, offers just eight stately seats in the B777-300ER to provide customers with enhanced privacy, personal attention, convenience and entertainment.

With a width of 35 inches, the new seat product is almost 50 percent wider than any other conventional First Class seats in the industry.

For those in Economy Class, the experience is no less premium. Singapore Airlines provides every customer in Economy Class with a personal video monitor and handheld control unit, enabling them to enjoy KrisWorld, Singapore Airlines’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system, as well as a personal telephone in every seat.

Shan David and Analee Yulo try out the First Class seats on the SIA B777-300ER.

KrisWorld is installed on board all Singapore Airlines aircraft, offering customers the latest selection of programming and games in the industry.

Singapore Airlines flies seven times a week from Singapore to Barcelona and back. All these flights connect conveniently on the same day with Singapore Airlines’ flights to and from Manila and SilkAir flights to and from Cebu and Davao.
