A fair for all seasons

“Pleasure is the flower that passes;  remembrance, the lasting perfume.”

Jean de Boufflers

Life is enriched with colorful seasons — meaningful celebrations meant to be cherished and remembered. Recently, brilliant GM Hans Hauri of the five-star Marco Polo Plaza Cebu (MPPC) in Cebu City warmly welcomed eager debutantes and excited brides- and grooms-to-be to the hotel’s elegant Grand Ballroom for its much awaited annual tradition billed as Seasons: A Debutante and Bridal Fair. The festivities started with a ribbon cutting of the fair graced by special guests including one of the pillars of Cebu’s high society — the graceful Amparito Lhuillier, Fashion Council of Cebu president and designer Philip Rodriguez and Lia Bernardo.

The fascinating two-day event culminated in a glamorous fashion show at the luxurious hotel lobby, featuring the exquisite collections of the members of the Fashion Council of Cebu composed of renowned couturiers Jun Escario, Albert Arriba, Cary Santiago, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hofer, Sal Malto, Philipp Tampus, among others. Directed by the multi-awarded Junjet Primor, the show, with the themes Princess Diaries and Seasons, offered a breathtaking look at the latest couture and accessories for debutantes and brides. It was indeed a well received affair showcasing Cebu’s finest!

Congratulations and may many more weddings come to the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu!
