Of Oneness and Camaraderie

Bel-Air’s fine tradition of celebrating community embodies what the village residents proudly call the Pasinaya. This enduring tradition is a three-day event, which culminates in a dance festival participated in by the most talented residents of this close-knit community.

This year’s theme, Kulay Bel Air...Bagong Simula, featured a myriad colors representing all that has been and yet to come.

“Significantly, the true color of Bel-Air is the people’s love of community and this year, we pass on the torch to our youth. This is a lifetime tradition of thanksgiving to God and nation for the gift of people who will readily rise up and contribute their talents in the spirit of camaraderie, oneness and friendship,” says barangay captain Victor Gomez.

Tradition lives because young people catch its romance and add new glories to it. Watching the electrifying high energy performances of the dedicated Bel-Air youth, as true heirs to this wonderful legacy, made everyone convinced beyond a doubt that the Pasinaya promises to be even better in the years to come.
