Where beautiful ladies love to dine

“Beauty is the promise of happiness.” — Stendhal

It was indeed an evening to remember as Caruso Ristorante Italiano, the outstanding restaurant, recently hosted an excellent dinner for the lovely candidates of Ms. Earth 2009. Affable Caruso owner Dario Gardini warmly welcomed the gorgeous ladies and treated them to an authentic Italian cuisine replete with delectable specialties such as ravioloni emiliani ripieni, al burro e salvia (home-made ravioloni with spinach, ricotta cheese butter and sage), garganelli colorati con salsa di pomodori e gamberi (home-made garganelli with shrimps and tomato sauce), scaloppine di vitello in salsa di limone (veal slices in lemon sauce, Australian meat) and salmone fresco agli agrumi (fresh salmon with lemon and orange flavor) complete with the mouthwatering Italian Panna Cotta. Everyone partied to a great night while toasting to the smooth and crisp Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Pinot Grigio wines. From the superb food to the elegant ambiance and its trademark personalized service and hospitality, Caruso truly goes all the way to deliver the best when it comes to offering Italy’s finest!

Congratulations!

Arts in the city

The prestigious Arts in Taguig City (ATC) school recently inaugurated its FVR Hall — named after and dedicated to former President Fidel Ramos. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres replete with a splendid song and dance performance had guests clamoring for more. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the plaque by the former President himself assisted by his wife former First Lady Amelita Ramos. Ballet Philippines’ president Margie Moran Floirendo and chairman Tonyboy Cojuangco cut the ribbon to officially start the ceremony.

Congratulations!
