Winner of the 2007 Century Tuna Superbods Search Patty Ortega is blessed with the right combination of features, great skin and a body worthy of the title. Nowadays, Patty is busy with projects and parties, slowly making her mark in the industry.
Without the makeup, the wardrobe and the camera flashes, this 20-something beauty has more to offer. Patty confessed that she dreaded the thought of having to join the Superbods Search. She said that she didn’t want to work out more than she normally would, but in the end, she didn’t have a choice as her manager at the time had already signed her up. With this, she jumped at the chance and onto the treadmill. She worked out twice a day, achieved the results she wanted and went home with the title. Patty claims that she works out twice as hard because she simply loves food.
The best thing about the business, according to Patty, is being able to experience the best of everything. Like any real girl, Patty shares that she enjoys all the perks, especially the free makeup she gets.
While in the College of Saint Benilde, Patty used to hang out with the rockers. This pretty woman used to go to school wearing what magazines would call “streetwear” but what real people would normally call puruntong and tsinelas. “If there ever was a need for rocker models, I would be one!” she shares.
On a normal day, Patty enjoys casual and practical clothes and shoes. No uncomfortable heels, no mini skirts and shorts. She loves comfort and in a more practical sense, prepares herself for cab rides to shoots or times when she’ll have to wait for a ride on the stairs of some location. No frills and fuss for this lady.
Despite her no-froufrou attitude and very practical frame of mind, Patty lives it up when she’s in front of the camera. She loves what she does and she really plays the part fabulously. Her almond-shaped eyes, perfect nose and delicate face carve for her a place alongside the industry’s numerous beauties.
The quality that makes Patty stand out from the rest is that she has a strong sense of self. She will never be lost in the sea of trends and beautiful faces. She is thankful for having a job that allows her to experience so many great things and at the same time have time for herself. Patty is living the sweet life and we all know that she has a great future ahead of her.
