Welcome the new breed

“The mere sense of living is joy enough.” - Emily Dickinson

It was an evening of fine spirits and sumptuous cocktails at The Continental in Tower Club recently as Moet Hennessy created an intimate gathering of cognac connoisseurs. Moet Hennessy business development manager Randy Uson and chief representative Olga Azarcon started the joyous occasion by tweaking boundaries, introducing Hennessy Shanghai cocktails and innovations of the Hennessy XO were likewise unveiled — starting off with the new look of the Hennessy XO with its darker and bolder appearance. The unique and sophisticated aroma of the 30-year-old cognac delighted the carefully selected guests of the evening: Robina Gokongwei-Pe, Susie and Paqui Ortigas and Marivic Vasquez, who won the first Hennessy XO Magnificence in the Philippines. Towards the end of the night, the exquisite Hennessy Paradis was served with its elegant silky texture and waves upon waves of flavors that totally enchanted the lucky guests.

Hennessy is the name that made cognac famous worldwide. Whether you have been a follower of cognac or starting to appreciate its rich and powerful characters, you will never go wrong with a name that has withstood eight generations of careful control over the finest cognac collection: Hennessy!

Proud to BPInoy!

Banking leader BPI recently honored the exemplary achievements of Filipinos working abroad with the prestigious BPInoy Awards. Now on its second year, the BPInoy Awards celebrate the achievements of world-class Filipinos. Held at the Makati Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, the ceremony gave proper recognition to internationally acclaimed fashion and bridal wear designer Monique Lhuillier and pioneering heart surgeon Dr. Jorge Garcia, whose rare combination of talent and determination made them succeed and stand out in highly competitive environments. The awards were handed out by BPI president Aurelio R. Montinola III, Ayala Corp. and BPI director Fernando Zobel de Ayala and BPI senior vice presidents Tessie Tan and Nita Claravall.

Thank you BPI, for the great act of recognizing these modern-day heroes. Mabuhay ang Pilipino!
