Bubbly beauties

"There is certainly no absolute standard of beauty.

That precisely is what makes its pursuit so interesting."– John Kenneth Galbraith

The world has much to offer and that is indeed what everyone experienced at a recent Veuve Clicquot champagne dinner party held at Makati Shangri-La’s Red. Each of the chef’s creations was harmoniously married with the different Vintages and style of the Veuve Clicquot champagne. It was a gastronomical feast blending with the journey of taste from special champagnes flown in for the event. This is very much how everyone experiences one of the world’s top champagnes as Veuve Clicquot is considered the most exclusive and high status champagne available today. It continues to be faithful to Madame Clicquot’s motto as "only one quality, the finest." The same values which has enabled it to be a part of the leading international group in luxury products — Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton or more commonly known as LVMH.

The exquisite gathering called for discerning individuals with a taste of life’s refinements, who were also educated in the intricacies of champagne and champagne-making by the Moet Hennessy Wine Estates & Veuve Clicquot Group regional marketing director Bruno Yvon. The exceptional guest list was composed of the Philippines’ business and social icons who were entertained by no less than the Moet Hennessy top executives Moet Hennessy Asia Pacific managing director Mark Bedingham, Asia Pacific regional director Paul Skipworth and Philippines chief representative Olga Azarcon. Featured Veuve Cliquot rarities included Vintage 1999, Vintage Rosé 1999 and the Vintage Rich 1998 paired with such a delightful menu comprised of oysters, crème brulee of foie gras, lobsters, champagne sorbet, US Beef Tenderloin and Orange-Valrhona Chocolate Cake.

Perfection!
