Colorful party hats, balloons, fireworks, flowing champagne, a plentiful buffet and ecstatic revelers greeted the New Year at The Palms Country Club, Alabangs premier club community. The exclusive private enclave for both business and pleasure hosted its biggest New Years Party ever, gathering some 700 members who came with their loved ones to greet the Year of the Dog.
Also the first New Years celebration for the Clubs new GM Urs Wuthrich, the evening was highlighted with exceptional performances by Backdoor and Fat Session. A wide variety of dishes which included wagyu beef, ebi tempura and other Asian specialties was complemented by fine wines and sparkling champagne. The open-air celebration was blessed with good weather, made even more magical with a balloon-releasing ceremony and an amazing fireworks display. The childrens entertainment held at the Café Asiana was well-appreciated by members and their kids. The Palms truly brings club lifestyle to a new level with exciting events such as these!

Hardworking BMW Philippines president Dr. Joerg Breuer and debonair BMW Philippines corporate communications and marketing director Lito German were on hand to ensure the tournaments success. At the end of the extremely tight Stableford competition, the winners were revealed: Leslie Limsico for the Class A division, Alex Revilla for Class B and Farah Imperial for the womens category.
Once again, congratulations to BMW for another successful golf tournament!
The lovely Debbie Tan-Yu Chan of The Bellevue Hotel receives the Coral Jubilee Honoree Award at the alumni homecoming of St. Paul College. The successful businesswoman, loving wife and nurturing mother has overcome sickness and trials that strengthened and made her the woman of substance that she is today. This true Paulinian lives and teaches those with trials to bear their burdens with ease. She is no doubt guided by the words of her favorite saint, St. Paul, who preaches: "Hope does not disappoint."
Congratulations, Debbie!
