One good turn leads to love

"My father didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." – Clarence Budington Kelland

Good things happen to you when you do good things for other people. Victor Rufino, son of Ernesto Baltazar Rufino Jr. and Josefina Padilla Rufino, and Marisue Aguas, daughter of Dominciano Ayson Aguas and Cecilia Coronel Aguas, were acting as chaperones for friends when they first met in 2003, and a year and a half later, they found happiness in each other; love sprouted like a tender bloom from nothingness. The Santuario de San Antonio Church was the site for their joyous union, where the svelte, blushing bride was radiant in her stylish silky-white wedding gown as she walked down the aisle as the debonair groom awaited her.

Looking on were principal sponsors Narciso Padilla, Rafael Galvez, Felipe Padilla, Jolly Gomez, Connie Lopez, Amelia Coronel, Natividad Jose and Cynthia Bautista, while photographers Eddie Boy Escudero and Cres Yulo chronicled the affair.

Guests, close family and friends were dressed in their formal best as they witnessed wedding vows being exchanged. Reception followed at the Rockwell Center, where sumptuous food was served and everyone made merry as they celebrated the lovely couple’s union.

May you have wedded bliss forever, Victor and Marisue!

Bonding over hardware
At hardware superstore Federal Hardware, Makati executive Rouen Abel Raz and his cute son Axle Raven were spotted bonding together while shopping for items. Rouen headed to the tools section, his favorite section, where he showed young Axle some of the power tools that are useful around the house. Thanks to the store’s complete selection of lights, tools and other hardware items, Rouen was able to purchase all the things he needed while spending some quality time with his son.

Meanwhile, at the Federal Design Expo, the furniture and lifestyle center, well-known TV director Bert de Leon of Look Who’s Talking on ABC 5 was seen browsing the store’s various furniture showcases with his two good-looking sons, Atenistas Jake and Niko. Thanks to the store’s wide selection of imported and locally made designer furniture and talented interior designers, Bert was able to check out a number of furniture showcases that were perfect for a stylish and hardworking man like him.

May your father-son bonds grow stronger through the years!
