At 2 p.m. yesterday, a tail-end of a cold front extending across northern Luzon with an easterly wave affecting the eastern section of Mindanao.

Northern Luzon and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to strong north-easterly wind will prevail over northern Luzon and the coastal waters over this area will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, except during thunderstorms.

Temperature forecasts: Metro Manila, 24-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 16-22; Tagaytay City, 20-28; Subic and Clark zone, 24-31; Metro Cebu, 26-29; Metro Davao, 25-29; and Cagayan de Oro, 23-29.

Tidal predictions in Manila Bay: high tide at 12:46 p.m. at 0.46 meter; low tide at 6:09 a.m. at 0.17 meter, and at 3:30 p.m. at 0.39 meter. Sunrise is at 5:48 a.m.; sunset at 5:35 p.m.
