At 2 p.m. yesterday, a low pressure area  was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 350 kms west southwest of Iba, Zambales.

Central and Southern Luzon and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas including Palawan which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
