Forecast

At 2 p.m. yesterday, typhoon “Ineng” was estimated at 890 kms east of Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is forecast to move west-northwest at 13 kph.

Central and Southern Luzon and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Coastal waters in Southern and Northern Luzon and the Visayas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, seas will be slight to moderate.

Temperature forecasts: Metro Manila, 23-30 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 16-20; Tagaytay City, 21-27; Subic, Clark zone and lahar areas, 23-28; Metro Cebu, 25-30; Metro Davao, 25-32; and Cagayan de Oro, 23-32.
