MANILA, Philippines — The second part of the massive anti-corruption protests kicks off today, November 30, with two major rallies set in Metro Manila: the “Baha sa Luneta 2.0” at Rizal Park in Manila and the “Trillion Peso March” at the People Power Monument in Quezon City.

Participants for the Trillion Peso March began gathering as early as 6 a.m. while groups joining Baha sa Luneta assembled at 7 a.m. Similar demonstrations are expected nationwide.

The protests stem from allegations of widespread anomalies in flood control projects involving public works officials, contractors and some lawmakers.
