MANILA, Philippines — EDSA Bus Carousel and jeepneys will resume providing free rides to commuters from November to December, the Land Transportation and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said on Monday.
According to LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz, the vehicles offering free rides will be available across the entire National Capital Region and will not be limited to EDSA.
(We will release the funds this month. We will bring back Libreng Sakay. We will prioritize Metro Manila, including jeepneys)
He also said that the joint circular for the P1.3 billion funding of the service contracting program has been approved.
(You know we are after the resumption of service from November to December as an early Christmas gift from LTFRB)
