MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go and Quezon City second district Councilor Mikey Belmonte led the inauguration of two multi-purpose buildings in the city yesterday.
The two joined other city and barangay officials in the blessing and turnover of the multi-purpose buildings at Promised Land in Barangay Bagong Silangan and Diamond Homeowners Association in Barangay Commonwealth.
Belmonte, speaking before residents at Barangay Bagong Silangan, underscored the long overdue need for the multi-purpose buildings, which are seen to further improve the delivery of services.
He expressed gratitude to Go for his support in the projects.
The senator, for his part, lauded the councilor for his hard work and dedication to serve his constituents.
After the inauguration, the two proceeded to SB Park in Barangay Batasan Hills to witness the aid distribution to beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s assistance to individuals in crisis situations.
