MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) yesterday rescued two mentally impaired persons who were found imprisoned and left behind at a house in Batangas.

PCG spokesperson Captain Armand Balilo said that their personnel rescued two men.

Both of them were found locked up in a house in the municipality of Agoncillo, Batangas.

Balilo said their personnel, part of Task Force Taal, were conducting a patrol in Balibeweng, Agoncillo, Batangas when they received information from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Batangas that two persons were abandoned during the evacuation.
