Roads closed due to Lando

MANILA, Philippines - At least 29 roads that have been damaged, hit by landslides, flooded or littered with fallen trees and other debris in the wake of Typhoon Lando have been closed to traffic, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). 

In a statement, the DPWH said eight of these roads are in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), seven in Cagayan Valley and 14 in Central Luzon. 

Kennon Road was among those ordered closed to traffic.

The Conner-Kabugao Road and Claveria-Calanasan Road Mapalong section in Apayao, Benguet-Nueva Vizcaya Road (Pakak section) and Acop-Kapangan-Kibungan-Bakun Road in Benguet, Banaue-Mayoyao-Aguinaldo-Isabela Road and Potia-Mountain Province Boundary Road in Ifugao were closed due to fallen trees and landslides. 

In Mountain Province, Talubin-Barlig-Natonin-Paracelis-Calaccad Road (Pudo section) and Tonglayan, Natonin and Pinukpuk-Abbut Road (Gapang section) in Kalinga were closed to traffic due to landslides.
