Binay's satisfaction ratings drop, Drilon most favored among top officials

MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Jejomar Binay's satisfaction rating suffered a nine-point drop in the latest Social Weather Stations survey released on Tuesday.

Binay's net satisfaction rating dropped from +42 in June to +33 in September.

Senate President Franklin Drilon turned out as the most favored top government official with a net satisfaction rating of +42, an increase from his previous rating of +29.

Meanwhile, the ratings of House Speaker Feliciano "Sonny" Belmonte Jr. dropped from +9 in the second quarter to +5 in the third quarter.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno turned out as the least favored top government official with a net satisfaction rating of +4, a decrease from her previous rating of +11.

On the other hand, the Senate and the House of Representatives both improved in its public satisfaction rating with +44 and +26, respectively.

The Supreme Court registered a rating of +27 while the Cabinet got +16.

The survey was conducted from September 2 to 5 among 1,200 Filipino adults nationwide.
