MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Jejomar Binay is no longer the most approved top government official as his rating drops 15 points in the latest Pulse Asia survey.

Binay received a 43-percent approval rating in September, a drop from his June rating of 58 percent.

This follows his resignation from his post in President Benigno Aquino III's Cabinet.

Meanwhile, Aquino maintained his approval rating of 54 percent, making him the most approved top government official for the quarter.

Senate President Franklin Drilon received a 50-percent rating while House Speaker Feliciano "Sonny" Belmonte Jr. and Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno got a rating of 32 percent and 29 percent, respectively.

The survey was conducted among 2,400 respondents nationwide.
