MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Jejomar Binay is also using dummies to conceal his alleged ill-gotten condominium units in Makati City, his former ally claimed on Tuesday.

At the resumption of the Senate Blue Ribbon Sub-Committee inquiry into the Makati City Hall II parking building, former Makati Vice Mayor Ernesto Mercado linked six more properties to his former boss.

Among these was the 150-square meter Unit 2801 of The Peak Condominium which had been registered under the name of a certain Ariel Olivar, the supposed surveyor of Binay's alleged 350-hectare estate in Rosario, Batangas.

Mercado even presented Olivar's supposed affidavit in which he allegedly admitted that he is not the true owner and purchaser of the property.

"My name was registered as owner to conceal the identity of the true owner of the property. I know the true owner of the property to be Vice President Jejomar Binay," Olivar said in his alleged sworn statement, as read by Mercado.

Mercado claimed that he received the statement during the hearing, but he won't say from whom it was.

The six properties linked to Binay that were bared on Tuesday are the following:
