MANILA, Philippines - The next national holiday to look forward to for this year is Bonifacio Day on November 30, Sunday.
This year will be Andres Bonifacio's 151st birth anniversary.
Last year, the hero's sesquicentennial birth anniversary was celebrated in Bonifacio Global City through an event called BGC Passionfest 2013.
President Benigno Aquino III also declared December 24 and 26 as an additional special non-working holiday "to foster closer family ties and enable our countrymen to observe Christmas more meaningfully."
