MANILA, Philippines — A Malaysia Airlines flight from Manila to Kuala Lumpur on Monday night was canceled due to technical problems.
According to a radio report, the Boeing 738 flight scheduled to depart from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 at 6:00 p.m. was at first announced as delayed and was eventually canceled by 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

NAIA Terminal 1 manager Dante Basanta said in a radio interview that the passengers spent the night at the Heritage Hotel.
Aviation engineers from MIASCOR Aviation Group, meanwhile, are working with the aircraft's mechanics to detect the problem.
The flight's schedule was moved to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Malaysia Airlines is the same company that owns the airplane that disappeared on Saturday while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
