MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino was set to meet last night with Miss Universe third runner-up Shamcey Supsup before flying to the United States for an official visit.
Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said Supsup was to make a courtesy call on the President at around 9:30 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 before the President would board Philippine Airlines' commercial flight to the US at around 10:30 p.m.
Supsup arrived at around 6:18 a.m. yesterday from Los Angeles, California aboard PAL flight PR103. – Aurea Calica, Rudy Santos
