MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reported yesterday that the jackpot prize of the 6/49 Super Lotto draw tomorrow is expected to reach P75 million after nobody won the jackpot last Thursday night.
Conrado Zabella, assistant general manager of the PCSO online operations, said no one hit the winning six-number combination 38-40-30-14-08-32 and the jackpot worth P66.9 million last Thursday.
Zabella said long queues of bettors are expected in lotto terminals to try their luck.
“The bigger the jackpot the longer the lines of people in lotto outlets across the country,” he said.
Last month’s lucky player from Pasig City won the P73-million jackpot of the Super Lotto draw.
The winning combination 5-3-22-30-33-32 with a jackpot of P73,341,252 was sold at the lotto outlet of Armando Quintong at 11th Light Homes, Sta. Lucia in Pasig.
This was the second time since January that a Pasig resident won the jackpot prize of the Super Lotto.
The first was on Feb. 22 when a Pasig player shared the biggest lotto jackpot of P347 million with a 50-year-old woman from Caloocan City.
The first winner from Pasig, however, has not claimed the share of the P347-million.
Zabella said the jackpot of the Power Lotto, which is drawn every Saturday, had increased to P67 million.
