MANILA, Philippines - Spain Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratino is set to visit the country this week to sign bilateral agreements with the Philippine government, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced yesterday.
The announcement, which was posted in DFA’s website, showed that Moratino will arrive in the country tomorrow.
DFA Secretary Alberto Romulo will welcome Moratino in a ceremony in Malacañang at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow.
Romulo and Moratino are expected to sign the bilateral agreements in Malacañang at 6:30 p.m. of the same day at the Goldenberg Mansion in Malacañang Palace complex.
The DFA did not elaborate the nature of the bilateral agreements which Romulo and Moratino will be signing. – Jose Rodel Clapano
