8 PMI graduates top Customs Broker exam

MANILA, Philippines – Eight graduates from the Philippine Maritime Institute (PMI)-Manila dominated the top 10 slots in the Customs Broker licensure examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last month.

The PRC said 254 out of the 1,108 examinees passed the test, with

Hazel Ann Binadayuson of Lyceum Subic Bay as topnotcher with 90.75 percent rating.

Binadayuson was followed by Ma. Gina Sumando Menil of PMI-Manila, with 89.25 percent; Jardine Muyot Gerodias, PMI-Manila, and Karen Mangampohabacon of Lyceum Subic Bay, 88.75; Elvin Maurice Real Mackay, PMI-Manila, 88.50; and Babylyn Mandigma Epino, PMI-Manila, 88.25.

Others in the top 10 list were Alejo III Polintan dela Cruz, Lyceum Subic Bay, 88; Rhyme Taytay Freo, PMI-Manila, 87.75; Franco Celzo Robiso, PMI-Manila, 87.25; Suzette Francisco Somigao, Lyceum Subic Bay, 87; Denver Chua, PMI-Manila, 86.50; and Emmanuel Tioyao del Mundo, PMI-Manila, 86.50.

The PRC said the oath-taking ceremony for the passers as well as previous passers who have not taken their oath will be held before the agency’s Board of Customs Broker on Dec. 1 at the Centennial Hall of Manila Hotel . – Sheila Crisostomo
