682 new dentists

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday that 682 out of 1,659 examinees have successfully passed the Dentist Licensure Examination given by the Board of in Manila last May 2002.

The result of examination with respect to one examinee was withheld pending final determination of her liability under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The members of the Board of Dentistry who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Claro B. Rayos Del Sol, chairman; Dr. Ma. Rosario D. Achacoso, Dr. Antonio A. Baldemor, Dr. Leonor T. Rocero and Dr. Estefania B. Castillo-Barbers, members.

The requirements for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration are the following: latest Community Tax Certificate; 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and name tag), 1 piece 1 11/2 x 11/2 picture; 6 pieces documentary stamps, and 1 small brown envelope; and to pay the following fees: Initial Registration Fee of P400; and Annual Registration fee of P300 for 2002-2005. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Professional oath will be held before the Board on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Manila Midtown Hotel, Ermita, Manila.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places are the following:

1. Lucia Bernadette Santos Lareza 82.38; 2. Ana Emilia Xavier See 81.91; 3. Camille Xenia Sanares Corvera 81.88; 4. Catherine Cabasa Alattica 81.84; 5. Wendell Esmena Obach 81.79; 6. Zarah Ramo Abesamis 81.73; 7. Raemund Anthony Pinero Galang 81.68; 8. Candids Patrice Agustin Reyes 81.63; 9. Louella Gapuz Lomboy 81.57; 10. Darwin Resurreccion Tualla 81.41.
