Jonan Aguilar stands out in a crowd, but not because of his long braided hair or imposing ink (although those help too). It’s more of an aura thing, that which gives a person that special little shine. Not many know that Jonan is the son of Pinoy folk superstar Freddie Aguilar but this is a matter beyond point. When he takes the microphone, it is clear that he has stamped his own brand in music, last names none withstanding.
Jonan is one of the most respected and talented MCs in the country. He enjoys the privilege of touring outside the country with the colors of our flag resting on his good and able shoulders. It ‘s not easy to gain street cred in the hiphop scene where musicality may even come as a close second to convictions and being real. It only goes to show that Jonan may have some important things to say and absolutely nothing to hide.
