X-Men: Days of Future Past a reboot for a bigger movie

MANILA, Philippines - X-Men: Days of Future Past, which surpassed the previous X-Men movies released since 2000, is a reboot and a reunion of sorts for a bigger release, hopefully next year.

In the latest installment in the X-Men film series, Wolverine would take a dangerous trip back to the past to meet the younger Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) and Mystique also known as Raven to be able to defeat an army of indestructible adversaries that were seen to wipe out mutants.

Director Bryan Singer and the writers of the movie succeeded in mixing the past and future X-Men in this movie. The effects and plot of the movie are even better.

New characters are also featured in the movie, including Bishop and Quicksilver.

Bishop or Lucas Bishop is a mutant from the future who can absorb energy from his attacker and use it for his own advantage.

Quicksilver, meanwhile, is the son of Magneto who has the ability move at supersonic speed. In the movie, he will help Wolverine and the gang of younger Professor X and Beast in saving Magneto from detention.

Just a little spoiler: the movie is reunion of sorts of the original cast, who probably would be appearing in the next X-Men movie.

Do not leave the theater and wait for the closing credits' roll to end for the clue to the next movie.
