MANILA, Philippines — Eight-member girl group BINI composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey, recently marked their third debut anniversary with their fans, a.k.a. Blooms, with the grand “Happy BINI Day’” event at One Ayala Mall in Makati.

Blooms were “trapped in a fairytale,” to borrow a line from their song Salamin, Salamin, for a day in BINI Land, which featured exhibits and installations themed to some of BINI’s hits such as Pantropiko, Karera, and yes, Salamin, Salamin.

Batch of fans, who pre-registered through the group’s newly-launched website (bini.global), enjoyed the whole-day free event that included various photo booths and fun fan games.

Fans eagerly entered BINI Land through the summer ball-decorated infinity arch, before exploring the stimulating activity areas and taking part in exciting mini games located at Level 2 of One Ayala.

The “mahiwagang salamin” setup with pink and blue pastel backdrop in the “Salamin, Salamin” booth, captured and reflected hundreds of smiles from fans who took mirror selfies and groufies with the aesthetic body mirror.

Fans put their creativity to work in the Craft Station, customizing their own “talaarawan” (diary) and pocket mirrors with assorted and colorful beads and stickers reminiscent of BINI’s first EP, Talaarawan, released last March.

Channeling their idols’ flair in their “BINI-fied” outfits — be it coquette, crochet, or denim style — Blooms exuded confidence in striking their best poses in the themed photo booths.

“Feel good” and loving messages and reminders for the members crowded the huge Bloom fan wall and Post-It notes wall, with simultaneous fun fan games happening in BINI Land.

A mini gallery also showcased the girls’ iconic outfits which they have previously worn in their music videos and live performances.

At the BINI Merch area, fans with exclusive membership were the first to secure the first wave of the group’s official limited merch including T-shirts, stickers, photocard albums, which were sold out on the same day.

Blooms also immersed themselves in dance workshops of BINI’s songs Lagi, Pantropiko, and Salamin, Salamin, in the afternoon at Space of One Ayala.

BINI officially debuted on June 11, 2021 with the single Born To Win. The all-female group became widely known after their smash hit Pantropiko made waves in the local and global music scene.

Dubbed as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” BINI currently holds the title as the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artist with the highest daily listeners on Spotify. They also recently made history on the streaming platform as the first Filipino act to enter its Global Top Artist chart.

The octet is set to host a fun run on June 23 before they take center stage at the New Frontier theater in Quezon City for the three-day “BINIverse” concert from June 28 to 30.

The girls will also bring their first solo show to Baguio, Cebu, and General Santos City, as part of their regional tour in July, with stops in Canada in the following month.
