Pokwang complains about P131k Meralco bill but thanks ABS-CBN for changing her life

MANILA, Philippines — Comedian Pokwang formally bade farewell to ABS-CBN, her home network for 16 years. 

In her Instagram account, Pokwang posted videos of her shows in ABS-CBN through the years. 

 

 

"16 years! Maraming, maraming salamat Kapamilya...." she wrote.

The former mainstay of now defunct ABS-CBN comedy show "Banana Sundae" said she will be forever thankful to the Kapamilya network for changing her life. 

"Hindi dito matatapos ang pasasalamat ko at ng aking buong pamilya na binago nyo ang aming buhay, mga pangarap na natupad, higit sa lahat ang naging daan ka sa pagbibigay ko ng saya sa lahat ng pilipino saan man sa mundo," she said. 

"2004 nag simulang gumanda ang buhay ko. Salamat maraming, maraming salamat sa iyo #ABSCBN. Habang buhay kong tatanawin at pasasalamatan ka at ng aking buong pamilya hanggang sa muli Kapamilya," she added. 

Pokwang is now with TV5 hosting "Chika, BESH! Basta Everyday Super Happy” Pauleen Luna-Sotto and Ria Atayde. She also hosts the game show "Fill in the Bank" with Jose Manalo.

Meanwhile, Pokwang took to her Twitter account to call out Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) for getting a bill worth P131,312. 

"May iba pa bang hotline ang Meralco masinag?wala sumasagot at di sinasagot mga tawag...ng hula lang ata sila ng computation ...4 na buwan P131,312.00 ano kami pabrika? @meralco," she wrote. 

 

 

"Hello marietta. Paki-check ng aming DM for further assistance sa inyong concern. Salamat," Meralco replied to Pokwang's post.

"Taray ni @meralco pag artista sinasagot agad!!! Pag ordinaryong tao, manigas ka kakahintay!" a Twitter user commented.

Meralco was formerly owned by the Lopez family, which owns ABS-CBN.
