BANGKOK, Thailand— Actor and TV host Paolo Ballesteros had a unique way of congratulating newly crowned Miss Universe Catriona Gray.
Ballesteros, known for his makeup transformations, took to social media to congratulate Gray while channeling Miss Universe Spain Angela Ponce.
“Congrats sister @catriona_gray!,” Ballesteros said.
The "Eat Bulaga!" host flaunted his latest transformation on the noontime show and called himself “Angela Onthe.”
Ponce made history as the first transgender woman to compete in Miss Universe. She failed to make it to the Top 20 cut but she was still given tribute during the pageant.
“If I can give that to the world, I don't need to win Miss Universe. I only need to be here," Ponce said in her featured video.
Meanwhile, Philippine bet Gray, snagged victory as she became the fourth Filipina Miss Universe.
