HOLLYWOOD — It was East-meets-West at Billboard Music Awards as Korean pop group BTS met some of the West's biggest musicians like the Backstreet Boys, Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams, Lil Pump and John Legend.

On a Twitter post by the group believed to have been taken inside the dressing room of the Billboard Music Awards, BTS announced: “We met @taylorswift13 @Pharrell @lilpump @johnlegend.”

The popular group posted their pictures with the other artists from the other side of the globe.

As of press time, the post has now 267,862 retweets, 500,937 likes and 37,000 comments from different fans all over the world.

The Korean boy band performed their new single “Fake Love” for the first time as screaming and crying fans traveled from all parts of the world to see them perform in the MGM Garden.

The group, composed of V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope and RM, took home the award for top social artist at the Billboard Music Awards 2018.

Reports said that the band — who got their name from the acronym for the Korean term “Bangtan Sonyeondan,” or “bulletproof boy scouts” in English – wanted to collaborate with Charlie Puth, Troye Sivan, Drake, Shawn Mendes and DJ Khaled in the future.

The Billboard Music Awards 2018's biggest winner is Ed Sheeran, who won the Top Artist of the Year, besting Bruno Mars, Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift.

Ed did not attend the show but performed from Dublin.

Taylor bagged the Top Female Artist and Top Selling Album for “reputation.”

The Backstreet Boys are back in the limelight to promote their new single, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," released on May 16.
