MANILA, Philippines – Just three months after car racing champion Marlon Stockinger confessed to seeing Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, the beauty queen has just admitted she and Marlon are officially together.
"He makes me laugh," Pia said in a live interview with Dyan Castillejo on ANC. “I’m glad that I finally met somebody who's very secure with himself and who understands my job and who's not afraid to let me have my moment such as now that the competition is happening here."
She said she and Marlon get along really well because he is very understanding. She also said she is happy that Marlon is also a Filipino and Catholic.
Both Pia and Marlon hail from mixed European and Asian roots. Pia is Filipino-German while Marlon is half Swiss.
When asked what she likes the most about Marlon, she said, her boyfriend is funny and always makes her genuinely laugh. She also shared that Marlon knows a lot of things about her, including her secrets, and he is always cool about it.
Pia assured that the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) approves of her relationship with Marlon. She said both MUO president Paola Shugart and Esther Swan of MUO public relations like Marlon.
Marlon, 25, and Pia, 27, were rumored to be dating after the beauty queen posted a photo of her on her Instagram last September. Marlon admitted to seeing Pia late October.
The couple spent the holidays together in Hawaii and the beach photos they shared during the New Year went viral.
