Pia Wurtzbach urges voters: Kilalanin n’yo po nang mabuti ‘yung mga iboboto n’yo.

MANILA, Philippines - The Miss Universe title provides Pia Wurtzbach a platform to spread her advocacies and be of influence to people.

With the elections fast approaching, Wurtzbach gave a handy piece of advice to Filipino voters.

"I hope that we elect the right people because it’s going to shape the country for the next couple of years so it’s very important,” she said on Tuesday at a press conference held in Malacañang on Tuesday.

"My advice would be kilalanin n’yo po nang mabuti ‘yung mga iboboto n’yo. Hindi po sapilitan o parang minadaling desisyon. Kailangan po magaan sa loob n’yo kung sino ang iboboto n’yo po for the elections," the 26-year-old beauty queen added.

Wurtzbach's advocacy includes HIV prevention and anti-cyber bullying.

On Monday, Senate President Drilon revealed that Wurtzbach is interested to join politics after her reign as Miss Universe.
