MANILA, Philippines - Fans and members of the press welcomed Pia Wurtzbach when she arrived in Manila on Saturday for her homecoming.

But there is one welcome the reigning Miss Universe is probably happiest to receive: the one from her mother, Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall.
A video posted on the official Miss Universe Facebook page shows Pia reunited with her mom at a hotel room in Quezon City.

"So happy this moment was captured. There is no better feeling in the world than coming home to family," Pia said in the Facebook post.
Tyndall is a retired nurse based in London and flew to the Philippines for Pia's Miss Universe homecoming.
