Pinoy group 4th Impact eliminated from 'X Factor UK'

The musical journey of All-Filipino girl group 4th Impact on "X Factor UK" has ended. 

MANILA, Philippines - It has come to an end.

All-Filipino girl group 4th Impact was the latest act eliminated from the competition on "X Factor UK" on Sunday night (Monday morning, Philippine time).

The elimination comes after sisters impressed judges Nick Grimshaw, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Rita Ora and Simon Cowell with their performance of "I'll Be There" and a mashup of "Fancy" and "Rich Girl" on Saturday.

Lauren Murray joined 4th Impact in the bottom two and performed during the sing-off.

4th Impact sang "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from the musical Dreamgirls," while Lauren sang "Vision of Love" by Mariah Carey.

 

Cowell and Fernandez-Versini chose to eliminate Lauren, while Grimshaw and Ora chose to eliminate 4th Impact.

The result was reverted to the public vote due to the deadlock among the judges, and it was 4th Impact who received the fewest votes among the acts, making them the ninth contestant to leave the series 12 of "X Factor UK."

"We just want to thank the British public," Celina said during the exit interview. "This is already a prize for us because even though we're Filipinos, you guys accepted us and welcomed us in your hearts and that's unforgettable."
