MANILA, Philippines — Billy Crawford bade goodbye to one of his weekend shows, “Celebrity Playtime.”

In a statement released by ABS-CBN on Tuesday night, the decision came from his home network and his management ALV Talent Circuit Inc.

“Billy would love to continue hosting the show but unfortunately, he can't be seen in two consecutively airing programs,” the statement explained.

ABS-CBN then assured Billy’s fans that “he remains as one of the most respected hosts of the network.”

The Kapamilya actor will continue hosting the noontime show “It’s Showtime,” and celebrity talent show “You’re Face Sounds Familiar.”

“Celebrity Playtime” is also moved to a different timeslot at 10:30 p.m. to give way to the upcoming dance talent search show “Dance Kids.” — Joyce Jimenez
