MANILA, Philippines – Simon Cowell gave the Filipina group 4th Power a standing ovation after their performance for the six-chair challenge of “X Factor UK.”

The six-chair challenge will determine if they’ll continue on with the competition and will be mentored by one of the four judges.

4th Power is under the Group category and will be mentored by Fernandez-Versini.

For the six-chair challenge aired on October 11, the group performed the Christina Aguilera song “Show Me How You Burlesque.”

Right after their performance, Cowell immediately got up from his seat and applauded the group.

“How would you girls like to join the Overs category?” asked Cowell, referring to the category he’s handling.

“I think you are actually amazing,” he continued. “I think you need some help in terms of the direction of the music you should be singing, but I am thrilled that you chose this show, this country to compete in.”

“I think the British people will fall in love with you,” he added.

On the other hand, Fernandez-Versini said, “I don’t think that you are amazing. I think that you are phenomenal.”

“You and I can make magic!” she added.

The other groups who made it to the six-chair challenge are Menn on Point, Alien, Rumor Has It, Mon Amie, and The First Kings.
