MANILA, Philippines – Kim Chiu respects Kris Aquino’s decision to back out of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry "All You Need is Pag-ibig."

"Irespeto na lang natin siya," she replied when asked to react on Kris’ decision, in an interview on Saturday at the ATC 10th year anniversary. "Siguro naman naka-gain na siya ng respect from each and every people sa industriyang ito. ‘Yon ang desisyon niya, let’s respect that."

Last week, the Queen of All Media announced her withdrawal from the film after the cinematographer he requested couldn’t commit to the project due to conflicting schedule.

Aside from the MMFF entry, Kim’s fans could also look forward to a film set to be released next year with Piolo Pascual.

The two first worked for the film "Etiquette for Mistresses," and it was Piolo who announced that they’ll be working on another project next year.

"Siyempre masaya kasi lahat naman gusto maging leading man si Papa P," she said excitedly after hearing Piolo’s announcement. "Kapag artist ka, isa ‘yan sa mga pangarap mo manging leading man."

Kim is also happy that her friendship with Maja Salvador is slowly "rebuilding."

"Friends naman talaga kami," she said. "'Tsaka mas maganda mag-forgive kaysa buong buhay mo may burden, mas masayang wala kang kaaway."
